The Brecon Beacons National Park area of Wales boasts some of the UK's finest mountain biking with a huge network of varied trails that offer something for all.
This website contains overview descriptions of Mountain Biking Trails that are easily accessed from our brilliant Bunkhouses, accommodation designed with mountain bikers in mind. These Mountain Biking Trails offer a little of everything from short easy summer-evening saunters to full-on all-day epics. They explore all kinds of terrain from the high mountain tops to the lowly valleys and offer a variety of challenges from sinuous moor land single-track to broad-well surfaced forest roads.
So leave your car safely parked at the Bunkhouse and explore the Brecon Beacons by bike, the exciting, fun and environmentally friendly way. Then at the end of the day relax and enjoy our welcoming Bunkhouse hospitality.

Mynydd Illtud (Short)
A short easy ride over open ground, suitable for beginners and families, that follows a triangular route of bridleways and quite lanes around Mynydd Illtud. Click here for trail description...

This is long for an 'easy' trail, taking you onto country lanes and farm tracks through old Breconshire hamlets and villages. There are two off-road sections, the first being quite flat, and second being mostly downhill. Click here for trail description...
