Court Farm surrounds Llanthony Priory deep in the Llanthony Valley in The Black Mountains. Offa's Dyke path - the boundary between England and Wales - runs just above the farm on Hatterall Hill.

The Wain House is an old stone barn which used to house the market cart. It now offers simple, warm accommodation for up to 16 people. The sleeping quarters are divided into three separate areas; and there are showers and toilets. We are open at all times of the year. Camping is available in a nearby field.

Two pubs with bar food and Real Ale are just two minutes' walk away.

Heating/Cooking Facilities

The barn is heated throughout, and there is also a wood burning stove. The kitchen is equipped with all basic requirements for self-catering.

What to bring

Sleeping bags and pillowslips, towels, tea towels, and food.

Nearest Public Transport

Abergavenny railway station is 12 miles from Llanthony.

Local Interests/Attractions

A super area for walking with several pubs to chose from for a lunch stop. Riding and pony trekking can be organized from the farm - the horses use the bridlepaths and old parish roads which surround Llanthony Priory. Fishing on the Usk, canoeing on the Wye, or boating on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal can be arranged. A drive through the Gospel Pass will bring you to the world renowned bookshops of Hay-on-Wye. And if you fancy something more riotous, quad biking and paint balling activities can be found in the area.
