Walking Trails Overview
This website contains overview descriptions of Walking Trails in the Brecon Beacons National Park area of Wales that are easily accessed from our brilliant Bunkhouses, accommodation designed with walkers and hikers in mind. These Walking Trails offer a little of everything from short easy walks, suitable for young families, to 'big' walks to satisfy even the most experienced hill walker.
You can choose to walk the airy ridges and summits of the highest peaks in southern Britain, explore the beautiful valleys, study the varied wildlife or see the remains of ancient forts and castles. So leave your car safely parked at the Bunkhouse and explore the Brecon Beacons on foot, the invigorating, fun and environmentally friendly way. Then at the end of the day relax and enjoy our welcoming Bunkhouse hospitality.

This is a walk for the serious hiker being approximately 26 Km long with 900m of climbing. The route incorporates the 4 major peaks in the Central Beacons: Fan-y-Big at 719m; Cribyn at 795m; then Pen-y-Fan, the highest point in southern Britain at 886m and finally Corn Du at 873m.
